The alühome® ethos is about creating inspired, refined and bespoke glazing solutions. Above all, we want to play a part in helping you create your dream home and property renovation project.
The people at alühome® have many decades of experience in the UK door and window industry at the highest level, manufacturing and supply. This expertise gives us extensive product knowledge and we know what our customers love in fine glazing solutions.
Why brands matter
We believe you get the most out of your new glazing by offering you only the very best brands. There’s no substandard door or window on the market. Even the budget products meet building and industry standards as fit for purpose products.
You already make an informed buying decision on other products you buy, based on quality, trust and brand perception. The same applies to the windows, doors and glass available today.
The brands we choose come with reputation, longevity and superior quality. The best in British manufacturing, German design and high specifications. The difference between what we sell and the mainstream brands is what you see and don’t see. Intricate design, obsessive attention to detail and doors extensively tried and tested for years. Above all, the true sign a quality and superior product is how it slides, folds and locks and, of course, how it looks.
The alühome® White Glove Service
From your first contact with our company, we provide the highest standards of customer service.
The alühome Showroom
Our showroom is the first place to start, where you can see a comprehensive range of products, in a relaxed and no pressure environment. The installation of our bifolding and sliding doors especially shows you just how they’ll look and work in your home.
Your Quotation
The quotation you receive is clear, providing all the information you need and with no hidden extras. You’ll receive information about the specification of your chosen products, together with glass and colour choices, sizes and our terms.
Survey and Production
When you choose to place your business with us, you get ongoing communication every step of the way.
The first step is to finalise your order with you. Then we arrange a professional survey. The survey is an additional extra check for your colour and product choices. This is also where we establish the manufacturing sizes, together with any trims or ancillary items required. The survey also finalises any details with your builder or architect where one is involved in your project. We ask you to sign off your order at this stage.
We work with the UK’s best manufacturers with whom we enjoy a close and reliable working relationship. Your order is expertly made by these manufacturers and we’ll advise you of lead times and anticipated installation at time of order.
Throughout this manufacturing period, we keep you involved at every stage.
Your Installation
We will work with you in advance of your installation, liaising with any additional trades if necessary.
Our employed installation staff come fully trained and, importantly, by many of the companies whose products we install.
Installation dates and times are pre-arranged with you and your new glazing arrives fully protected and in excellent condition.
Our installation staff work with utmost respect for your home, regardless of whether you’re part-way through a build or replacing your existing glazing. At the end of your installation we’ll demonstrate your products to you and hand over any associated documentation.
After care
Following your installation we will issue your paperwork such as FENSA paperwork, invoices and any other documents.
Our products come with our own insurance-backed guarantee as well as any manufacturer guarantees provided by the designers/manufacturers of your products.
We are on-hand to talk to you post installation regardless of any questions you may have. We are confident you’ll be delighted with your new windows and doors.
